Eight Five Two's next collaboration
Eight Five Two Filmmaking is excited to announce that we will be working with Elia Gagliardi to produce his graduation short film!
The short is set to be a POC for a larger psychological drama feature film that tells the story of Leon, a young, talented, driven and ambitious basketball player studying at 'Rhea Academy', who pushes his physical and psychological limits during basketball trials, putting success over everything in order to win. The film will highlight the negative mental health effects when under extreme pressure placed by oneself, and that comparison is the thief of joy.
Pre-production is already in full-swing, with principal photography set to begin in early June.

Creative Producer

Alongside his independent projects, Ewan produces branded content at The Edge Picture Company for clients like Amazon, Deloitte, and AstraZeneca—bringing cinematic flair and production precision to commercial storytelling. His work has screened internationally, from Raindance to Tokyo, and across every project, he bridges creative ambition with clear, grounded execution.
