KONG 港: COLLABORATION PROJECT
October, 2020
We are pleased to announce that our founder and director, Ewan Windebank, is working on a collaborative project with Chow 周 (www.chow.work) alongside award-winning filmmaker Ryan Chow.
The project, codenamed 'Kong 港', is set to be a mature animation set in a near-future Hong Kong to be released mid-2021. With Ryan and Ewan working from Auckland, NZ and Hong Kong SAR respectively, most of the production process will take place online while complying with any covid-19 restrictions from their respective city's governments.
PRODUCTIONS RESUME
September, 2020
In light of the relaxation of Covid-19 prevention restrictions in Hong Kong, Windebank Productions has deemed it safe to resume small-scale commercial and creative productions.
We will ensure to follow any and all Covid-19 regulations advised by the government and PPE will be used on all Windebank Production sets.
ALL PRODUCTIONS HALTED
July, 2020
Due to the recent rise in Covid-19 cases in Hong Kong, all Windebank Productions projects, both commercial and creative, have been halted until further notice.
We hope that everyone follows the advice of health officials and refrain from going outdoors unless for essential journeys. Wear a mask at all times while in public and let's all do our part to fight the pandemic.
ARCHANGEL: PROJECT RESUMED
July, 2020
We are delighted to announce that Archangel, the final part in the Demons Trilogy, will resume where it was left off in pre-production.
The script is still in its early days and many creative decisions have not been made yet so it will still be a while before there is even talk about dates for principal photography. But the team is very excited to get back to working on it and shows a positive sign in what is in store for the months to come.
Windebank Productions will be looking for help for this production, so if there are any interested student filmmakers who do not mind volunteering, please get in touch with us.
HIJACKED: PROJECT RESTARTED
June, 2020
Hijacked, which was half way through production, will be restarted from scratch after a creative meeting with the project leaders. The project will re-enter the pre-production phase under a new director, casting and script. Despite the changes, the film will retain its theme and major story line.
We see this as a step forwards for the project. Allowing us to fully maximize the potential of the production to produce something truly extraordinary.
The re-writing of the script as well as making the creative changes will take some time for the team to complete, but we are looking at casting very soon as well as a call for volunteers to help with the production in anticipation of some large scenes set in the film. Principal photography could begin as early as August.

UPDATE ON SHORT FILM PROJECTS
June, 2020
With the recent relaxation of social distancing measures by the Hong Kong government, Windebank Productions will be looking into the feasibility of resuming our short film productions that were halted earlier in the year.
We also have plans to start new productions in the coming weeks, however this is subject to the status of Hijacked, which was half way through principal photography, and Archangel, which had just finished pre-production work. We hope that we will be able to complete all film projects plan for 2020.
YOUTH ARCH FOUNDATION: NEW CLIENT
June, 2020
We are happy to announce that Windebank Productions will be working with the Youth Arch Foundation to produce a promotional semi-docu-series for their 10th anniversary. The first episode is set to release on Mid-July, 2020.
ISSIA DOCUMENTARIES: NEW PROJECT
May, 2020
We are proud to announce that Ewan WIndebank, Director & Founder of Windebank Productions, will be working with the Inter-School Social Issues Association (ISSIA) to produce a series of documentaries revolving around various social issues in Hong Kong, including substance abuse, LGBTQ+ rights, environmental activism and mental health.
Principal photography is set to start in August, 2020, with the release of each episode scattered throughout the 2020-2021 school year.

BEAVERTAILS EDUCATION: PROJECT UPDATE
May, 2020
After shooting two episodes of the original proposed series, Windebank Productions and BeaverTails Education have decided to change the production plan to produce 4 mini-series and 1 big series, each with 4 episodes still targeted at kindergarten and primary school students.
The series is expected to roll out from August, 2020 to November, 2020. Principal photography is set to begin in June, 2020. Stay tuned for more updates.
JULES, BABY!: NEW CLIENT

We are happy to announce that Windebank Productions will be working with Julia Broad and her company, Jules, Baby! to produce a series of Q&A videos, set for release on her website, julesbaby.com.
BEAVERTAILS EDUCATION: NEW CLIENT

We are happy to announce that Windebank Productions will be working with BeaverTails Education to produce an educational series for kindergarten and primary school students set for publication on BeaverTails YouTube Channel.

COMMERCIAL PRODUCTIONS RESUME

After monitoring the pandemic situation in Hong Kong for some weeks now, and having seen no local cases in a number of weeks now, we are happy to announce that Windebank Productions will be resuming small-scale commercial services.
Any interested clients may contact us for enquiries and quotations. We will ensure that our crew adhere to government rules regarding groups sizes and will all wear PPE during productions.
ALL PRODUCTIONS HALTED

In light of the growing health crisis in the Hong Kong and Mainland China. Windebank Productions has halted all ongoing projects and productions until further notice. We hope that the public listen and respect the advice of health officials and adhere to social distancing and self-isolation measures as best as they can to combat Covid-19. We wish those affected a speedy recovery.
ARCHANGEL: NEW PROJECT
December, 2019
Pre-production has begun on Archangel, the sequel to Demons and the finale of the Demons Trilogy. The film will wrap up the story of Oliver and Dave and continue exploring the adverse effects of substance abuse, suicide and depression.
The film is set to be the largest production Windebank Productions has ever attempted, with principal photography starting early next year with an expected release date of Summer, 2020.
MUTUAL CASUALTY: PROJECT COMPLETE
December, 2019
With an extremely efficient 5-day shoot and 2 months in production, Mutual Casualty is now released and available to watch on YouTube or in the 'videos' sections.
HIJACKED: NEW PROJECT
November, 2019
Pre-production has begun for Windebank Production's latest short film, 'Hijacked". The film is set to explore anxiety and withdrawal.
At this time, we do not wish to reveal the story and plot, however we can announce that the film is set to begin shooting in December, 2019, with the planned release date of 14 Februrary, 2020.
MUTUAL CASUALTY: NEW PROJECT
October, 2019
Pre-production has started for Mutual Casualty, the prequel to Demons, released earlier this year. The film is set to expand upon Dave and Oliver's backstory, exploring the themes of student suicide, drug abuse and depression.
Production is scheduled to begin in November, 2019, with an expected release date of 25th December, 2019.

Windebank Productions has recently undergone a major re-branding and reboot. This includes this new website, new logo and new management direction and style. All of these changes should lead us to higher quality video productions.
