Overview
In March 2025, Eight Five Two Filmmaking was commissioned by Thailand’s Mandee Channel to lead the UK unit production for their upcoming high-end TV drama series, The Next Prince. This international collaboration brought the show's scope to London and Yorkshire, where we executed a full slate of exterior drone shots, VFX plates, and B-roll across multiple urban and suburban locations.
Working closely with Mandee’s Bangkok-based team, we provided full production services from development through delivery—executing on a tight turnaround with efficiency, clarity, and creative precision.
Scope of Work
Eight Five Two Filmmaking was responsible for:
End-to-end UK production coordination
VFX plate acquisition and aerial footage using licensed drone ops
High-quality B-roll collection across Central London
Full location permitting and insurance handling
Crew sourcing and management (London-based)
Production scheduling, budgeting, and logistics
Production Timeline
Pre-Production & Prep:Â 2 weeks (inc. scouting, recces, permitting, crew assembly)
Principal Photography: 2 days (March 16–17, 2025)
Delivery:Â March 20, 2025

Outcome
The project was completed on time and with great success, with final assets delivered ahead of schedule to Mandee Channel’s Bangkok post team. The Next Prince premieres on May 3, 2025.
